Log Home B&B Policies Thank you for your interest in our Log Home Bed & Breakfast.
Payment: We accept right now only cash, cheque or a online payment with PayPal (more info at www.paypal.com). For each reservation we require a one night deposit. The rest of the balance is usually paid at the end of your stay - sorry - we are not yet set up with credit card charging !! Rates: Current rates are posted on the web site and depend on the season. Rates are subject to change without notice. Cancellations: Full refund for cancellations within 2 weeks notice. If a cancellation or reschedule is made with less notice there is no refund unless we are able to rebook the Guest room(s). Less than 2 weeks - you will receive a certificate redeemable for a date of your choice !! Change in the Number of Guests/Conduct of Guests: Please inform us of any change in the number of guests before your arrival. The Guest rooms are not for parties, nor gatherings at any time of anyone except for those who have paid to stay there. Unauthorized people at the B&B at any time will result in a double charge. If there is excessive noise, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund. Arrival time from 3 PM: If the guest room(s) is not occupied the night before your arrival, you may be able to arrive early. Unless you have arranged an early arrival time, please do not arrive early to allow us time to prepare the guest room for you. Departure time 11 AM: Your prompt departure is appreciated so we can prepare the guest rooms for the next guests. If your room is not booked the night of your departure, a later departure time may be possible. Smoking/Odors and Other Allergens: This is a non smoking B&B. Smoking is only allowed outside. Please close the doors & windows so the smoke does not drift into the rooms/house. Pets: Are not allowed. Damage, Missing Items: Any damage in the rooms or its contents or missing item(s) will be charged to your final bill at repair or replacement cost. If there is such a charge, an explanation will be mailed to you within 15 days. Plumbing: Do not put any feminine products in the toilet. The toilets are water-saving models and don't have a strong flush - limiting the amount of toilet paper used will help prevent a clog. Cancellations by Log Home B&B: In the unlikely event that we will have to make any changes to confirmed reservations, we will advise you at the earliest possible date. If this does happen, you will be given a full refund. We will also attempt to locate another facility for you. We will not be liable for any further obligations or claims by you. Risks/Safety: Children are welcome, but there are conditions in and around the B&B that may pose hazards to them, as well as to adults, such as the deck, steep hills, open stairways, and wildlife. Log Home Bed & Breakfast does not assume any responsibility for injuries resulting from your failure to use due caution. Children must be supervised at all times. Candles are not allowed due to fire hazard except citronella candles in buckets. Do not put any flammable material on or near any heat source, such as the electric baseboard heaters and gas fireplace. Winter Conditions: We will have the driveway and walkways clear of snow before your arrival. We suggest use a 4x4 car and winter tires during the winter months. Repairs: Please let us know of any problems or needed repairs in the room(s) and we will fix it as soon as possible. Left Items: Please check carefully for belongings before you leave.
